New Year, New Studio, New Blog

Hello friends.

It’s a new year with new possibilities.  As we bid farewell to 2017 (well, more like “good riddance, don’t let the door hit you on the way out, why are you like this??”), we here at Amy Wurdock Photography are jumping into 2018 with exciting new developments.

This blog, for one thing.  This space will feature news and updates; special offers and packages; and many things photography (it was going to be “all things photography,” but I don’t do darkrooms).  I’ll try to keep entries brief, informative, and amusing.

So, in the spirit of news and updates, I’m delighted to tell you that we’ve moved!  Although we sadly bid farewell to lovely Northeast Minneapolis, we have a fantastic new space in the Vandalia Towers in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood.

My great new 1,200 square foot studio has a private dressing room, a comfortable client seating and viewing space, and a large, light-filled shooting bay.  I’m excited to share the building and surrounding area with a plethora of other talented artists (the coffee shop and brewhouse don’t hurt either).

With this new beginning in mind, I invite you to our studio warming party on Tuesday, March 6, running from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Come, explore the new space, share some light refreshments, meet new people (or hide awkwardly in the corner trying not to talk to strangers, up to you).  Kids welcome.

Check back here every so often for updates.  I plan to put up at least one new entry a month.

I might even stick to that plan.
